കൂടുതൽ ലോക്ക് ഡൗൺ ഇളവുകൾ പ്രാബല്യത്തിൽ വന്നതോടെ കൊച്ചിയിലെ ഒട്ടുമിക്ക മാളുകളും ഹോട്ടലുകളും ഷോപ്പിംഗ് സെന്ററുകളും ഇന്നലെ മുതൽ തുറന്നു പ്രവർത്തനമാരംഭിച്ചു. എല്ലായിടങ്ങളിലും കർശനമായ സുരക്ഷാമാനദണ്ഡങ്ങൾ പാലിച്ചു കൊണ്ട് മാത്രമാണ് പ്രവേശനം അനുവദിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്. എന്നാൽ ആദ്യ ദിനത്തിൽ കാര്യമായ തിരക്ക് അനുഭവപ്പെട്ടില്ലെന്നും വരും ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ ഇത് ക്രമാതീതമായി ഉയരുമെന്നും മാൾ അധികൃതർ അറിയിച്ചു. വിവിധ മാളുകളിലെ ഫുഡ് കോർട്ടുകളും കടകളും തുറന്നെങ്കിലും സിനിമ തിയേറ്ററുകളും കുട്ടികളുടെ കളി സ്ഥലങ്ങളും അടഞ്ഞു തന്നെ കിടക്കുന്നതാണ് ആൾക്കാരുടെ വരവ് കുറയുവാനുള്ള പ്രധാന കാരണമായി കണക്കാക്കപെടുന്നത്. പ്രവേശന കവാടങ്ങളിൽ തന്നെ താപനില പരിശോധിക്കാനുള്ള സംവിധാനവും അണുനശീകരണ ക്രമീകരണങ്ങളും ഒരുക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. മാത്രമല്ല സർക്കാർ നിർദ്ദേശ പ്രകാരം ക്രത്യമായ ഇടവേളകിൽ എല്ലാ ഷോപ്പുകളും അണു വിമുക്തമാകുന്നുണ്ട്. ഇടപ്പളി ലുലു മാൾ, എം ജി റോഡിലെ സെൻറ്റെർ സ്‌ക്വയർ മാൾ, ഇടപ്പളിയിലെ ഒബറോൺ മാൾ, മരടിലെ ന്യൂക്ലിയസ് മാൾ എന്നിങ്ങെനെ നഗരത്തിലെ പ്രമുഖ മാളുകൾ പ്രവർത്തനമാരംഭിച്ചത് വ്യാപാര-കച്ചവട മേഖലയിൽ പുത്തൻ ഉണർവ് സൃഷിട്ടിക്കുമെന്നു വ്യവസായ ലോകം വിലയിരുത്തുന്നു.
Malls in Kochi re-opened with tight safety measures
As lockdown eased in many places in the state, kerala’s commercial hub Kochi witnessed a massive change yesterday with the re-opening of major malls in the city. All malls have strictly followed the covid 19 safety protocol and were given strict instructions to their employees to strictly implement the guidelines. But very few customers walked into these places. Authorities say that the continuing closure of theaters and kids play areas were the key factors for the less number of guests in the malls and they hoped for better walk-ins on coming days. At all entry points authorities have placed thermal temperature scanners, sanitization facilities and staff equipped with guiding guests to follow all such precautionary measures. In Kochi, Lulu mall at Edappally, Nucleus Mall at Maradu, Oberon mall in Edappally and Centre Square Mall in MG Road, have started to function in full swing.
